Stephanie is a Board Certified Patient Advocate, and the founder of A Voice For You Patient Advocacy. She is the happiest when she can make a positive difference in the lives of others, helping them find solutions to get through difficult, stressful, or confusing times.
Her background began in Occupational Therapy (OT) and she values her experiences in both rehabilitation and mental health settings. Despite her love for OT, her career path led her to spend 30 years working in the pharmacy industry, initially as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, but for her last 15 years as a General Manager. Stephanie's business experiences included managing two pharmacy locations and their staff, customer service, billing and insurance, human resources and marketing. Stephanie is known for her dedication to the people she services. Her compassion, kindness, and supportive ideas were well suited for the independent pharmacy setting, by providing her the flexibility to create and promote innovative services. She was the first in the area to create compliance programs, keeping senior customers healthier, safer, and more independent. |
Stephanie's experiences have also included supporting people through in person and virtual medical appointments, and surgical procedures. By attending these appointments, preparing questions, ensuring follow up, staying bedside to speak with hospital staff, and attending both preoperative and post operative appointments she helps coordinate information and facilitate communication. She is helping to educate, empower and promote the health, safety and rights for each of her clients.
